Interventional Pain Physician
Joseph Park, MD, is an interventional pain physician and board-certified anesthesiologist at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He completed his pain fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and during this time, was elected Chief Fellow. Dr. Park also completed his residency training in anesthesiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and was named Outstanding Resident of the Year his graduating year. He received his Doctor Of Medicine from Stony Brook School of Medicine and received his Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University.
Dr. Park use a multimodal approach to treat his patients’ pain and tailors his treatment plan to each individual. His treatment for his patients’ pain (including back pain, sciatic pain, joint pain, migraines, neck pain, facial pain) involves not only the most up to date techniques and modalities but also involves caring for whole person and finding ways to reduce pain through lifestyle modifications.
Dr. Park has been published in textbooks, prominent medicals journals, and has given presentations at national meetings of anesthesiologists. He is involved in resident education. Outside of work, he is an avid surfer, runner, and reader of nonfiction.
