Stefan Samuelson, MD, provides exceptional personalized pain management at AABP Integrative Pain Care. From the office in Midtown East of New York City, Dr. Samuelson helps patients with complex and challenging cases of back pain, arthritis, leg pain, and other pain-causing conditions.
Dr. Samuelson earned his medical degree in New York, New York, at Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons (VP&S), the medical school of Columbia University.
He then completed an anesthesiology residency at New York Presbyterian/Weill-Cornell Medical Center, an internship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and a fellowship in pain management at Mount Sinai West, all in New York, New York.
As part of his continuing pursuit of specialized pain management education, Dr. Samuelson earned an Acupuncture for Physicians certification through Harvard Medical School (HMS) in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Dr. Samuelson has a particular interest in addiction medicine and pain management using buprenorphine-containing medications. He’s also a strong advocate for the most advanced cutting-edge treatment options, such as central and peripheral neuromodulation.
He helps his patients explore all options, including conservative options and more aggressive treatments, to overcome both acute and chronic pain effectively.
